He is resident in Luxembourg and holds both Luxembourg and Belgian nationalities. François began his legal career at Clifford Chance in Luxembourg, where he advised private equity, venture capital and real estate fund managers on a broad range of cross-border transactions and sophisticated international structures. His work involved the structuring, formation and operation of regulated and unregulated investment vehicles, as well as transactional and governance aspects in a multi-jurisdictional context. In 2013, he became a partner and was subsequently one of the founding partners of Deloitte Legal in Luxembourg, playing a key role in establishing and developing the firm’s legal practice. During his time at Deloitte Legal, he advised leading international clients and contributed to the strategic positioning of the Luxembourg practice within the broader professional services offering. He also served as one of the Global Leaders within the Deloitte Legal Global Network, where he was involved in coordinating legal expertise across jurisdictions and contributing to global thought leadership.
